It is us again. We hope you had a wonderful holiday if you were in US!
Smoke test is here!
The BackerKit Backer survey is ready. We will begin the smoke test. It means 5% of the backers will receive the survey first. We will monitor how the process goes and make sure it is smooth. Any fine-tuning will be done during the period. And the rest of the backers will receive the survey.
By this way, we can create a seamless and smooth experience for backers in confirming the pledges! So be aware for the next few days.

We have long been dreamers when we started the idea over 2 years ago. We even made a reddit post 11 months ago, way before the Kickstarter even happened.

Today, we had a conversation with Julia, the student behind studygram @catchingthelight_. She has been using our movers like we did, categorizing tasks and stuff according to colors. For example, she uses different colors for different subjects’ exams and lectures. It is amazing since we have never really exaggerated that way of usage. We actually have so much more to tell during our journey. When we first started, we even wanted to shoot a video to raise people’s awareness of using too much phone and having excessive screen time being detrimental to one’s health or productivity while having something physical can help people focus and relieve pressure. But just like we did in the previous updates, when a heavy message is given out or too much educational contents are put out, people get bored. So I guess we should really take time and convey our message bit by bit.

We have just been notified by Backerkit that they are starting to do the review and smoke test for the backer survey. It will hopefully be sent out by the end of this week or the beginning of next week.

Hi guys,
The proceeds from Kickstarter have been settled. The next step is finalizing the backer survey. It will be sent out next week. The exact date depends on the duration for success manager delegated by BackerKit (our backer survey service provider) to do the final checking and smoke test.
For now, you just have to wait till the backer survey come out. You can then confirm your color selection and add even more add-ons.
In the meantime, for those of you wondering how others are using the Mover’ family, you can check out our Instagram page. There are people whom we have sent out prototypes to during the testing period. And you can see how they use the tools by viewing our story.

Hi guys,
We have received some messages from backers who said they have been dropped out from the project. It is a payment situation where the inputted payment info is not accepted by Kickstarter. The period where backers with fail payment to update information has ended. Those who did not update in time are no longer on-board.
BUT NO WORRIES! The service we acquired from Backerkit supports those who have been dropped out and still want to be on-board. Their system supports late payment! So you can retry the payment and see if it goes through.
In the meantime, while waiting for Kickstarter to process and finalize everything 14 days after the campaign ended, we are preparing the fulfilment and also tidying up the contents.

Hi guys,
It is us again.
We have received some messages from backers who could not update their payment information in time and asked if it is able to pledge us. YES YOU CAN.
We have learnt from Backerkit that they will be sending out survey to those backers who failed to proceed their payment on kickstarter, giving them an opportunity to honor their pledge to the campaign.
“It takes about two weeks for Kickstarter to collect and disburse funds once a campaign ends. Backers whose pledges have been declined on Kickstarter have one week to update their payment information. “
Another thing is that we have been recommended by Backerkit to send out survey 14 days after the campaign ends. So we will send out the survey around the 27th of June.
Don’t worry, here is a teaser for the survey. And we can have some time to let you know how to fill up the survey J We know our campaign has so many options which can be a hassle for some of you who want multiple selections and add-ons.
After you have started filling the survey, there will be two amounts on the top part of the survey page.
The left one is the amount you pledged and the right one is the pledge level/ option you have selected as a base. E.g. You have selected the option “1 x MoverCombo*2 with MoverPad and MoverBook” so the pledge level is HK$679. For instance, your location is UK and the shipping cost is HK$130. The pledge should be HK$809. So the amount is perfectly correct! Some of you can have $12xx something on the left, which means you are going to have some add-ons to your pledge.
For this page, there are 4 items in the option, “1 x MoverCombo*2 with MoverPad and MoverBook”, which are 2 Mover Combos, 1 MoverPad and 1 MoverBook. You will have to answer 4 questions regarding the color selection.
After those 4 questions have been answered, you will be directed to the page for add ons.
For the add-on page, there are tons of options you can add. But basically, it is very simple.
There are six accessory add-ons to choose from. Following them are the rewards from our campaign. This is to address the backers who would love to add multiple rewards to their single pledge. For example, if you want “Mover Combo [x5]”, “Mover Combo with MoverPad” and “Mover Combo with MoverBook [x3]”, namely 3 rewards altogether, you can do so by adding the additional rewards to the cart.
Warning: The early bird reward options (With pink texts) are only for early bird backers’ claiming. Those who did not pledge for early bird options should choose the normal equivalent if they want to add those reward options to their pledge. Otherwise it won’t be proceeded.
Question:
So how do I know if I need to pay for the extra rewards I added?
For example, this backer only pledged $809 during the campaign for the “1 x MoverCombo*2 with MoverPad and MoverBook” reward option. After claiming his reward, he suddenly wants to add 2 “MoverCombo[x2]”, then he only has to pay the extra $488 for the added items, which is shown as Balance in the bottom of the list.
That is why when some backers are asking the possibility of adding ThinkerBoard even if they did not pledge for it during campaign and our answer is a resounding yes!
We will share more on the filling out process information. The survey will be sent out next week around 27th June.
